What is a Historic Resource?

A historic resource is any building, site, structure, object or district listed in the National Register of Historic Places or listed as a local historic resource. The criteria for determining a resource�s eligibility for listing include
(1) age � generally 50 years old or older;
(2) integrity � has it retained its historic appearance;
(3) significance � based on its historic association with important events or people, architectural significance, or the potential to yield archaeological information.
