“We believed about doing it final 7 days,” co-proprietor John Vergos reported. “We experienced a meeting with our staff members. With the spikes, it is just really annoying for us, creating positive every person is risk-free. The surroundings is scary right now, and we want our staff to be protected and our clients to be safe.”

“But we hope to reopen shortly, possibly a 7 days, possibly two weeks, it’s possible for a longer period — we’ll see how it goes and when it is suitable, we’ll open up again,” Vergos stated.

The Rendezvous was 1 of the very first dining places to shut in March, a handful of times prior to Mayor Jim Strickland purchased dining rooms closed in Memphis on March 20. It afterwards reopened for takeout, then opened the dining area on June 5.
